Blake Deady is the President, Chief Operating Officer, and General Counsel of ARCHER Systems. Formerly a litigator with a distinguished Houston mass torts and catastrophic event trial law firm, with experience in multi-state and multidistrict litigation, Mr. Deady was a member of the firm’s trial teams which obtained several multimillion-dollar verdicts in national bellwether trials. In addition to his litigation practice, he negotiated settlement values, Master Settlement Agreements, plaintiff release documents, 468B Qualified Settlement Fund motion practice and Trust Agreements, lien resolution programs, among other key settlement terms and conditions, and designed various settlement programs managing in excess of $1 billion.
With particular interests in settlement design, efficient claims administration, and healthcare lien resolution terms which further settlement, Mr. Deady leads ARCHER’s special master/allocation neutral element and settlement design services. His negotiations and drafting have provided both plaintiffs and defendants with proven models and documents. His pragmatic approach yields exceptional claimant participation and effective resolution to often complex matters. His relationships with settlement counsel on both sides credits him with serving as a skilled liaison between all parties to the settlement.
Mr. Deady received his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and is admitted to the bars of Texas and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
